Interesting. It appears that Google is now testing a “enter your post code option” as seen in the image below.

It’s an interesting variation on the usual “Google Maps” option which usually shows up when you enter such queries as “Brisbane Hotels” etc. Yet another development in the “local search” vertical that is so important in today’s SEO efforts.
